About

Peak Season Workforce is a family-owned small business based in Mashpee, Mass. on Cape Cod. It was organized in 2002 as a division of Chip Bishop Communications and Management, Inc. to fill a demonstrated local need. At first, transportation and hospitality businesses on Cape Cod and the offshore island of Nantucket asked us to help fill seasonal jobs with international workers when American workers were not available. Over the years, Peak Season Workforce grew to represent scores of businesses in New England and across the nation with the same need. Now, Peak Season Workforce is recognized as one of the nation’s foremost business agents that help companies—large and small—secure federal H-2B work visas for seasonal workers.

JaneJane Nichols Bishop is founder and president of Peak Season Workforce. She brings to the task an exceptional level of customer service, knowledge of federal and state work visa rules and strategic savvy. Before Peak Season Workforce, Jane worked in Washington, D.C. as U.S. president of a Swedish student travel agency and was an authorized federal visa signer. Her career also included a seven-year stint as a successful innkeeper on Cape Cod.

Joe Bishop, client manager, joined the team in 2011. He brings experience in high-level recruiting and human resources management to the team, while providing administrative and clerical support. Before joining Peak Season Workforce, Joe worked as a recruiting partner for a well-established Washington, D.C. agency. When he isn’t working, Joe and his wife, Katherine, are active in the local theatre scene and can be found working on character material at regional renaissance faires.

ChipChip Bishop, Jane’s husband and Joe’s father, is Peak Season Workforce’s marketing consultant and chief financial officer. In his spare time, he’s a published author of non-fiction with a specialty in history. Chip also is a die-hard Red Sox believer. See www.ChipBishop.com.
